Getting Started

First, create an account on the Generation Tux and enter your event date. Then you start browsing through our variety of 100% Merino wool suits and tuxedos—in different colors and styles—all from your phone, computer, or tablet.

Once you’ve narrowed down your choice of suit/tux style, you can then take a look at our dress shirt selection, which is available in twill and pleated, as well as several patterns and colors.

Thinking about a vest or cummerbund? We have plenty of those, too! Finish off your look by selecting the perfect tie. We also have accessories like pocket squares, shoes, and a variety of socks and dress shoes to help you complete your ensemble.

Color Matching

Whether you’re trying to match a bowtie to a bridesmaids dress or can’t decide between the navy and mystic blue, we can help you find the perfect color match by sending you free color swatches to view the fabrics in-person.

Securing the Right Size

We have sizes that range from 3T to men’s 66L, as well as slim and modern fits. And there is no need to have your measurements taken when you rent a suit or tux with us.

All we need to get started is your basic information—height, weight, jean size, etc—and we handle the rest through our innovative fit technology, which can ensure that your wedding suit or tuxedo rental will fit perfectly. It’s as easy as answering a few questions on our website.

The Try-On Process

We offer the wedding couple a complimentary 48-hour Free Home Try-On period so they can see how their suit or tuxedo fits and note any adjustments that need to be made.

The Final Look

At the end of the trial period, you will send everything back and inform us of any changes needed. Your final look will arrive 14 days before your special event.

Groomsmen Help

If you’re the groom, don’t stress about the rental process for your groomsmen. Generation Tux’s online system allows you to send them a link to the exact look to rent for the big day, and then keep track of everyone’s progress to make sure they’ll have their attire on time.

And when five or more people in your party rent a suit or tuxedo, the groom’s rental is free of charge.

The Return Process

You’ll be sent a prepaid return shipping label with your package so you can return your suit or tux within three days after your event.
