Top Color Trends for Spring 2021 Weddings

Spring is associated with new beginnings, with flowers ready to bloom and the weather getting warmer (but not too warm). And let’s not forget that the season’s natural colors—from bold and bright to pale and pretty—are both eye-catching and romantic. Each year brings a fresh crop of color trends, and this year is no different. Here are the top choices for this upcoming spring that you won’t want to miss.

Gorgeous Green. Lighter green hues—such as mint and dusty sage—are associated with freshness and renewal, making them a perfect choice for spring. Pale green accents also work beautifully for eco-friendly and outdoor parties.

Not-So-Basic Blue. Blue was the color of 2020, and its popularity will carry on to spring weddings. Opt for a classic yet bold blue suit, with Navy and Slate working well for an evening event and Postman and Mystic Blue better for the daytime. If you want something more subtle, go with blue accessories, but try for lighter hues that will look best in the spring, such as Ice Blue or Tiffany Blue.

Shades of Gray. One of Pantone’s 2021 colors of the year is “ultimate gray.” And in our opinion, you simply can’t go wrong with a gray suit. It can easily be dressed up or down, paired with a variety of colors, and gives anyone wearing it a modern look. Happy Yellow. The other Pantone color of 2021—“illuminating” yellow—will be a hot color for this year, so expect to see it really gaining traction in the spring. A Canary, Sunbeam, or Saffron tie and pocket square can bring a burst of sunshine to your wedding day ensemble.
