  • Stain stick
  • Boutonniere pins
  • Shoeshine kit

  • Bottled water
  • Energy drink
  • Protein bar
  • Alcohol
  • Cigar and lighter
  • Phone charger
  • Copy of vows
  • Deck of cards
  • Umbrella

Put someone you trust in charge of the emergency kit—putting it together and getting it to your getting ready space and then your ceremony and reception venues.

Don’t forget to pass off the rings to the Best Man before the start of the ceremony.

Don’t drink heavily the night before or the day of the ceremony. You won’t look or feel your best. A few drinks the night before and a drink or two before the ceremony to calm your nerves is plenty. After the ceremony and after you greet all your guests, all bets are off and you can drink all you want.
