Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any additional shipping costs beyond the free shipping mentioned?

There are additional shipping costs if you require expedited shipping (less than 16 days before your event). You may also incur extra shipping costs for late returns. Expect to pay for shipping for replacement garments reported after 48 hours. For those who prefer to use an alternative carrier other than UPS, you pay the shipping costs.

What happens if my suit doesn't fit perfectly after the home try-on?

If you've rented a tuxedo or a suit and it isn’t a perfect fit, there's no need to panic. Contact our Customer Experience Team within 48 hours of delivery, and we'll get right on it. Our team will ask you to describe the fit issues and/or request that you send fit photos. After a fit analysis, we’ll immediately send you a no-cost replacement or make the necessary adjustments at no additional cost.

Do you offer alterations?

We don’t do any alterations in-house. However, if the pants or jacket sleeve length of your tux or wedding suit rental has fit issues, we offer complimentary tailoring services to remedy the situation. Take the pants or jacket to your local tailor for a hem or sleeve adjustment, and we’ll reimburse you for up to $20.00.

What are the cleaning instructions for the suits after the event?

When you rent a suit or tuxedo from Generation Tux, there’s no need to take it to the dry cleaners after your event. All we ask is that you brush it with a clothes brush, air out the suit to help reduce odors and wrinkles and then hang it properly. Then, place your tux or wedding suit rental in the pre-paid garment bag for shipping.

Do you have a physical store location?

Are you someone who prefers to rent a suit at a showroom offering in-person styling and interaction? You’ll find physical stores in Columbus, Ohio, Chicago, and Dallas.
